species by fighting inappropriate and illegal developments and activities. But to ensure
long-term biodiversity conservation and sustainable footprints, we need to go to the root of
the threat: the factors that currently favor or allow damaging or unsustainable activities…
and lead to irreversible losses.
There are an estimated 400,000 plant
species on earth. Of those, an
estimated 80,000 are threatened with
extinction.

billion people worldwide lack access
